One of our many van co-writes, Sarah driving through the New Mexico and California dusk, spitting out lyrics, me sitting in the passenger seat playing ukulele. I believe this is the first song we wrote after buying the Kia van and leaving the Toyota Echo in Boulder. I remember weeping uncontrollably when she spit out the line "I miss my dogs and my children" and we we had to stop writing for a few minutes while I wiped the tears off my face.
